We are pleased to announce that the chosen charity for this years awards will be Victim Support

Victim Support is the independent national charity for people affected by crime. We provide information, emotional support and practical help in local communities and at court. The help we give is free, anonymous, confidential and available whether or not the crime has been reported and whenever it took place.

We help people to rebuild their lives from all types of crimes. These range from the London bombings, fraud, burglary, sexual violence and muggings to domestic abuse, gang, gun or knife crime and homicide.

In 2008 we offered our help to more than 1.5 million victims and supported nearly 280,000 witnesses.
